STAFF SAFETY: INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL
While adapting to unfamiliar environments, new cultures, customs, and laws, you, and the sensitive or proprietary information you may be carrying, are vulnerable to potentially dangerous environments when travelling abroad, including injury, illness, transport accidents, physical violence, crime, natural disaster and terrorist threats.
In this workshop we discuss personal safety and security guidelines, and contingency planning to dramatically reduce the vulnerability of your staff. Participants will learn strategies for the prevailing threats in their travelling environment — be it earthquakes in New Zealand, vehicle accidents in Oman, or riots in Thailand. The session concludes with a talk-through scenario to reinforce understanding.
